Actor Riteish Deshmukh has been roped in to play the antagonist opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Raid 2’, marking their first face-off as lead actors. This will be the first time that both actors will be seen in positive and negative roles. However, he has also shown his acting prowess in more serious roles, such as in the 2014 film Ek Villain.
Riteish Deshmukh Takes on a New Avatar-
Deshmukh, known for his comedic roles in films like ‘Housefull’ and ‘Dhamaal’, will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in ‘Raid 2’. The actor is excited to explore the dark side and promises to deliver a performance that will surprise audiences.

The film is a sequel to the 2018 hit, Raid, which saw Devgn play the role of an honest income tax officer named Amay Patnaik. The sequel will pick up from where the first film left off, with Patnaik continuing his fight against corruption.
“Riteish is a fantastic actor, and I’m sure he’ll bring something special to the role of the villain,” says Devgn. “I’m looking forward to working with him on this film.”
